Psychoeducational Evaluation | Attention Deficit Specialists

Psychoeducational Evaluations are comprised of a series of standardized psychological tests that provide information about an individual’s level of intellectual functioning, academic achievement, learning strengths and weaknesses, information processing skills, and learning styles.

The results of the assessments provide valuable information that is necessary to develop an individualized, finely tuned diagnosis and empirically based treatment plan.  The results are typically utilized to develop recommendations for 504 plans or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that outline suggested educational accommodations that are necessary for academic success.  Some examples of 504 accommodations include preferred seating, increased time for tests and extra help in Reading and/or Math.
